We had a great day in Muire Gan Smál today as we celebrated Seachtain na Gaeilge and the long weekend ahead for St Patrick's Day.
Here is a brief snapshot of the day !
All classes from Junior Infants to 6th Class performed in the school hall. The older girls took to the yard in the afternoon for some damhsa with the old favourite ' An Dreoilín'.
The 4th,5th and 6th Class musicians treated us to some lovely tunes.
All in all, there was spórt agus spraoi everywhere and it is set to continue tomorrow as we take part in the Claremorris parade.
Let's hope the sun makes an appearance so that everyone can enjoy the day .
